My Experience in Being a History Teacher

Have you ever imagined being a teacher? Maybe you have ever thought that being a teacher is not too interesting. But, on other side, being a teacher is impressive. Now I will tell you about my experience in being a history teacher with my partner, Devina . First, I thought that being a history teacher was very difficult. I had to create an interesting method, so that the students could understand the lesson and they would not be bored. I also had to make a suitable condition and good relation to all of my students, so they would always respect me.

At that time, I had to do an outdoor teaching. Actually, my partner and I had prepared a lesson plan for an indoor teaching. So, we had to revise our lesson plan. In the beginning, we wanted to explain our lesson, World War I by using Power Point. But, because we have to teach outdoor, we had to create other communicative method. So, we decide to use carton and write the explanation there. We also print the charts that we have made in Power Point and then stick the charts to the carton. That was one of my difficulty.

But, when I taught World War I to all of my students, almost of them could comprehend the topic. I knew that because when I asked three questions to them, they could answer all of the three questions. So, I felt very happy and being a teacher was fun and interesting.
