Being a teacher

On this semester, my teacher, mam Agnes, give our class assignment. The assignment is teaching history using English. I think it’s a difficult assignment and different than before. I choose my partner. And I choose Christo as my partner. Because Christo is my friend in same table in class. He also clever student. We are a solid partner. The first step to teach is we have to prepare lesson plan. In lesson plan we explain about what will we do and what will we explain in teaching history. Our topic is history of "The Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki". Then Christo and I think about sub topic. We find what sub topic will we choose. We have to choose what sub topic we are good at. In teaching we have to make our student understand the topic what we explain. So we will make game, to make they understand and know about that. I don’t know what we have to do in teaching because I have never teaching before. I so confused to make my lesson plan. In our lesson plan we have to add summary about what will we explain. Our summary is very short because in our mind summary is short form from the original. After we make the summary we learn how to be a good teacher. Said mam Agnes we have to make opening, the lesson and closing. Our opening is prepare LCD. As new teacher we have to introduce ourself. After we introduce ourself we have to explain about the lesson. As the teacher we have to know about our topic. If we don’t know about our topic, we will get bad mark on English subject. And for the closing we have to re explain what we explain in short form. We are the first group, me and my partner so confused about what we have to say and make it work. After we prepare the material we have to make presentation about that bombing. In that presentation we have to add some images about the bomb was dropped, Hiroshima and Nagasaki after and before bombed. We preparing all together because we are team.And the day come. We have prepare all include mental. On that day there are 2 groups thy will perform. My group and Adi's group. I am and Christo so nervous. In class at first me and Christo greeting to the student. After we greeting I explain by lecturing and using slide presentation. After we explain we start our game. We decide play a game. The game is finding some words that we show on the slide. I give a papers to every students in class. Then they all can find all the words. After the game is over. Then I greeting to leave the class. And say thank you to all. That's my experience about teaching history.
