My Experience when I becoming a teacher

When I got task to become a history teacher, I thought many wonderful things to do when I went to the front of class, like dress like as 30 years war’s soldiers or make musket weapon from card boxes with my partner, Hartawan. But I thought that would be very shame and hard to do, so I started to download Thirty Year’s Theme Movie with the title “The Last Valley” alongside with my Shakespeare’s Drama Movie Collection. I got very proud it, I imagined showing the battle in that movie. After that I started to read the information of Thirty Years War at Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org). I just read it at least 5 minutes and I felt dizzy to see words in there. So, I tried to read synopsis of Thirty Year’s War from book and minor web like blog. It’s easier to know the story of war if you read from synopsis. After  that I tried to make presentation, unfortunately I too lazy to do it. So I waited until my turn was announced.

When my turn announced, I felt want to thank to for my laziness. “I got to teach at the yard !! Outdoor Area ! “. Thankfully that I haven’t made the presentation, but my movie is going to be waste . Because in the yard, I can’t use the LCD to do presentation or play a movie.  So, I must to think again about the activity at outdoor. Hartawan helped me about the idea what kind activity will we used, and so we choose “Puzzle”. So, I prepared the puzzle and material and Hartawan studied the material.

And the day we tasked to teach at the outdoor. I forgot about my teaching uniform, so I quickly went to my house and took it. Thankfully I could do it on time. After that I went to school quickly and so my teaching task begun.  Me and Hartawan split the class to 4 groups, and gave puzzle segment to each group. But I just realized that I brought one glue, and the glue isn’t glue for paper but for miniature model, so it can’t put the paper and puzzle pieces together. After they finished the puzzle, I started to explain to them about the material of Thirty Years War. When I taught them, it seem they ignore me, and at that time I knew the feeling of the teacher on that situation. But I feel happy when I finished this the teaching task. I feel if this task give me some experience to face teaching people who are about same age as me.
