What'll I Do After Finishing High School

Actually, when i heard this question for the first time, my answer that first popped out in my mind is "a lot of things I haven't done before!". Simple enough, but that may be true. But you know that i can't write it all down here. So, I narrowed my answer down to three major goal. It may not specific enough like everyone here's dreams, but i think you all will somehow understand my points. Enough chatter, here are they :

Go to College

I think this is the most common goal of all. Many people dreamed of college, and so do I. I want to learn more about the subjects that I like in college. Where to? Japan, of course!. The thing is, I always wanted to go to Japan since I was a middle schooler. To me, Japan is home of invention, innovation, creativity, and entertainment in the entire Asia. Moreover, its culture is very unique and distinctive. Living there is so much easier in Indonesia. For example, from what I heard, only working part-time in Japan will kept you well fed. Isn't that convinient?. Plus, I'm a fan of a japanese anime and games for past 5 years. I've been raring to go to Japan ever since. I'd like to take IT, Animation Design, or Mechatronics for college. Unfortunately, I haven't made up my mind yet for that. On side note, if I'm going to Japan, I'm really, really looking forward to meet my idol, Hatsune Miku. But, let's keep it down for now shall we?.

Learn a Lot of Life Skills

A bit vague, but this is quite important. This one isn't so grand for a goal, but i think it will allow us to reach other goal, which is better than this. What I'm saying is I want to learn many skills essential for living, such as : cooking, crafting, and fixing thing. It sounds like a lot of work, but it's worth trying, I believe. I want to do this after finishing high school because at that time, I would have a lot of free time. Of course I'll be studying for college but I think i'm going to spare my time for this one. It's indeed a useful skills, really. I'm sure this will make me independent. I want to be independent. Or rather, i need to.

Hone My Specialty Skills 

Yup, as said above, I want to improve my skills for doing things I'm best at, like making films and computer programming. I'd rather not learn everything in the world. Like people said : "Jack of all trades, Master of none". In other words, i have to focus on doing everything I can do, I'd like to do, and things that I'm best at. My father once said to me that my side skills, or non-academic skills will help you a lot somehow and will make people need you more than others. Well, I still and I will hold on to that. Doing hobbies while learning sure can't hurt, right?

I'm sure that the gist of it. Don't get me wrong though. My goal won't stop there. I have some goals I want to reach. But I think i'll save it for later and focus to the present. I believe it'll work out in the end. I hope what i'm writing here can help you all to decide what you will do in the future. Whatever path we choose, let's live it to the fullest and I do hope our path will cross someday.
