Me as a teacher

When Mam Agnes gave us an assignment to teach history it was kind of an awkward thing. Because I thought that history was somewhat a boring subject in school and that we have study history while we should be studying English, because as you all know it’s a English lesson after all.

I’ve gotten a lot of experiences while preparing and delivering the material. Me and my partner, who at that time I choose Retha. We were confused to pick which topic we were going to present.

The we came up with an idea to teach about ICRC which is short for International Committee of the Red Cross. After Mam Agnes approve our idea we started to father some information. Five days before we had to give our presentation we started to make the power point then we planned the game that we were going to give to our students.

Then when the time came for us to give our presentation we had some problems with the equipment we were supposed to bring. We forgot to bring a small ball to play the game, because without the ball we couldn’t play the game, so we made a decision to change the ball with a small doll.

While the presentation was underway the class was very conducive. When we gave the students time to ask questions they would eagerly ask as many questions as possible. I was very happy because my student were very enthusiastic.

When it was time to play the game we had arrange, the student got very excited and start shouting uncontrollably, but we manage to handle the madness that was happening. Later after the game we punish those who could not answer the question we gave them during the game. The punishment was decided by the rest of the class who did get punish.

After we had finish, we realized that it was such an exciting experience. I was very happy with the achievement we got then I also realized it’s a tough job to be a teacher, and so I would like to apologize to my teachers because all of this time I was a bad student.
